Paper Smooches Halloween Tags!!

Hi there~

I have been busy in the craft room working on a few sets of Halloween tags! I thought I would share a few I made using my Paper Smooches stamps and dies.  It was so fun to break out the Copic markers to color these guys. :)

Hello, friend!

Hello~

Last summer I learned to knit, and I must say it is so much fun.  I love the feeling of working with all kinds of yarn.  I started by learning a basic dish cloth and I still enjoy making them. This is a gift set I created this week for a good friend.  I decided to spruce it up with a hand stamped tag to match. :)

I have a few projects going at the moment, I hope to share more of my knitting here soon.

Today I am playing along in two challenges!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is to create a monochromatic project AND they are featuring Paper Smooches this week!!

Over at Paper Smooches Sparks challenge blog, it is Designer Draft week with a fun sketch to try.

I had fun combining the two challenges to create my Happy Bird-day card. :)

Wedding Card Box

I'm back today with another entry for the Simon Monday Challenge~Make the Cut. :)

I created a card holder box for a daughter of a dear friend of mine to use at her upcoming wedding. I used Spellbinders Blossom dies to create the fun burlap and lace flowers to add to the front of the box. I simply ran them through my Big Shot die cut machine to make the cuts and layered everything together.   

This is a shot of the complete box.  It is a bit blurry because I took the picture with my phone, also I touched the glitter on the H and knocked some off, so now I have some touch up to do before I give it to the bride. :p

Hello~

Today I have a card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge~Make the Cut.  We are challenged to use any kind of die cut or punch this week.

I used the Hexagon die from PTI to create my honeycomb for my card. I die cut white card stock and then I sponged on Versa Magic thatched straw chalk ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. 

I also embossed the hearts and sentiment using white embossing powder to help them stand out on the black cs. 

I then stamped the bee from Paper Smooches, cut him out with my scissors and popped him up with foam squares.

Moxie Fab Holiday Home Decor Challenge..

I have a few ornaments to share today for the Holiday Home Decor Challenge over at Moxie Fab World.

I started with wood shapes and added paper from Papertrey Ink.  Then using a sponge and distress ink I sponged the edges and added tags, buttons twine and wire to make them a little rustic.

Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit

Hi there~

I received my Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit this weekend and I just had to break it out and create a few cards!

I love all the goodies included this month but the stencil was a bit of a challenge.  I decided to ink it with pigment ink and emboss using glitter embossing powder. It turned out really cool, but it was difficult to photograph. :(

Summer Card Camp Final day!

My last card from Summer Card Camp 2 :( The classes were a lot of fun, I'm sad it's over. 

For this card I combined a couple of techniques from this week.  I used distress inks to create the water colored flower.  For the butterfly I inked it with a couple of chalk pigment inks and embossed it using glitter embossing powder.

Birthday fishes

Hi there!

Happy Friday, today I finally have time to create a few cards for Summer Card Camp 2. I can't believe it has been three weeks already. This week has been so busy for me I am hoping to try a few of the techniques today to add to the gallery.

My first card today is using the color combo and one of the sketches.  I die cut and stamped the fish from my Paper Smooches set-Birthday Buddies then colored him with my copic markers.  Then I added glossy accents to him to make him oh so shiny. :)
