Thanksgiving Table for 20...

Ahhhh....Happy Monday to you all.  We had a very busy weekend with family in town and a big Thanksgiving dinner at our house on Thursday.  Here are a few pics of my table...

We set three full size dining tables together so we could all sit together.

Here my plate piled high :)
And the best pic of all!! Hubby doing all the dishes...what a guy!  hehe
I hope you all had a wonderful day as well, now on to the Christmas decorating.  I am jealous of you that have your tree and decor up,  I am going to be working hard on it this week after our guests leave on Tuesday :)

Shots from this weekends show....

Happy Tuesday Friends!

I have just a few (hehe) shots from our show this past weekend.  I didn't do as well as I had hoped but we had fun spending time together.  The group of ladies around us were a lot of fun.  :)
*Warning* lots of pics....

Some of my card sets...

My SIL makes the cutest earrings for Christmas....

More card sets...

I even drug my prim tree from my bedroom to use for our display, my SIL's bestie makes the wood items....

So there you have it, we had a great display and lots of lookie loos, but we came home with a lot of inventory.  I spent most of my afternoon yesterday listing everything in our Esty shop in hopes to sell it there.
On a different note, are you ready for Thanksgiving??? We are hosting 20 of my hubbys relatives this year and 2 of them are out of town guests that are staying in that new guest room ( I still need to share pics of that soon), so am I a bit stressed....umm yes.  They arrive tonight ;)  I am rearranging furniture and lining up three full dining room tables so we can all sit together...wish me luck.  I will share some pics next week.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving I am soooo thankful for all my wonderful new blog friends I have made this year, you are all such amazing, talented, and giving women.  I feel truly blessed to  be a part of your world.  Ok, I'm getting weeepy so time to go.
Blessings to each of you~Stacy

Fall Decor

Hi there~
Well with Halloween over it was time to get the turkeys and pilgrims out and put the witches and jack o'lanterns away.  Thought I would share a bit this morning.

My big old turkey that my grandmother made me when we were first married.  He used to be the only fall decoration I had hahahaha, crazy!

Here is the sofa table with a few of my gifts from Sheila displayed (thanks Sheila...I love them)

Oh, here is my cute scarecrow I won a few weeks ago from Cyndy at Crafty Stitchers...LOVE him!!

I know this is a bad photo, I tried and tried but this is another bottle cap ornie we made on Saturday for our year round trees.

Thanks for visiting me today, have a great day girls!!

Still here......

Hi friends!
I am still here, just busy :)  So, son #2 got the keys to his house on Friday night so that meant we cleaned all day on Saturday...boy did my back hurt the next morning.  Then on Sunday he made the big move. Hubby kept me busy all day with shopping and stuff so I wouldn't be here to see them carry his stuff out.  But of course we came home just in time to see them load his bed, I lost it...this is much harder than I thought, but that was just the beginning.  Yesterday I spent the entire day painting his room....oh wow, that's when it hit me like a ton of bricks I didn't expect.  So I cried, painted, cried, painted...you get the idea hehe.
I am feeling better today, I guess it is just something I needed to do :) I miss his face every morning at the table, but he didn't move to far thank goodness.  I have never been very good with change, and being that I have been a stay at home mom for 25 years, I think the empty nest is super hard.  Son #1 is still here, and of course the princess for a few more years. Hopefully he takes a little time so this mom can recover LOL
If you are still here, thank you for letting me cry here. I will be back with the room makeover pictures soon, see we have family coming in for Thanksgiving so to time to waste, I have to get a guest room ready.  As of tonight, I have the painting finished and hubby is upstairs cleaning the carpet.  The bed comes Monday and I have the bedding ordered.  I can't wait to share.  I am also busy with projects for our craft fair the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I will share that soon to.
Thanks again for your friendships :)
Big hugs~Stacy Pin It
