Handmade Ornament and a Christmas book to share

Merry Christmas!
Each year I like to make ornaments to share with friends and family, here is the one I created to share this year.  I started with a 3"x3" square heavy chipboard then added a scalloped strip of patterned paper.  The jar and tag are stamps and dies from Papertrey Inc.  After punching the holes at the top I tied homespun fabric with a rusty bell. :)
On another note, I like to read a good book during the Christmas rush, it gives me a good excuse to just sit for awhile to read :)  I am in the middle of a book right now that I am enjoying so I thought I would share.
The Perfect Christmas
I always like to read Debbie Macomber and this is such a cute story.  Are you a reader? I would love to hear any suggestions.

Christmas Blessings~Stacy

Good morning Stacy!
That is a darling ornament-of course I'm a ginger addict too ;-) and Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors and finished this one a few weeks back and am almost to the end of Touched by Angels. Another wonderful book by Debbie.
I've enjoyed seeing all the pictures of your holiday decoration-sorry I didn't always take a moment and comment though.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas~

Sweet little ornie Stacy!! You always manage to layer in so many amazing details....I've never read Debbie Macomber - although we do enjoy the Christmas Hallmark movies made from her books. I have such a backlog of books waiting to be read now that I think I'm good for a lifetime.....I want to read The Heretic's Daughter (by Kathleen Kent) (fictional account of the Salem witch trials - had meant to get to it during spooking season but didn't); and then I would like to read The Help - really want to see the movie, but want to read the book first. Enjoy the read!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
