A couple Halloween Pillows...

Hi there~
I have a couple of Halloween pillows that I have been working on to share with you.
I have had a few emotional mom days lately so I thought I would come here to cry a little. On Thursday my middle son bought his first house, which is great news, only as a mom I am already dreading looking into his empty bedroom for the first time..we are a very close family of five and do alot together so this will be hard on me not having him under the same roof.  Any empty nesters out there....any advice or anything?
Ok, so on Friday my baby (which is my daughter) got her driving permit, not a big deal with the boys but for some reason with her I broke down again...maybe being the baby? I don't know..lol
Anyway, both great news, but the mommy in me just sees how fast they grow up, and how that part of my life is over.  Thanks for listening if you are still here, I need to work through this and get on to the next part of life. :)

Have a great day~Stacy

That pillow is so cute! No you are not a baby. My mom is right there with you. I moved out 4 years ago when I got married and she was very sad. She still tries to talk me into moving back (only she is joking, she loves my husband). I have 2 other sisters still at home so they should keep her busy. Im sure I will be that way too when I have children. Have a great week!

That second pillow is awesome. The girls are harder I think.Although I don't have my own kids.I've raised enough to know..smile..Girls are so much more worries.Yes so hard from the teenage years till they are making there own ways but the grammy years are coming so you'll still have little ones under foot.Big Hugs!~Amy

Sweet pillows Stacy.....And awwww, poor you....I'm fortunate that my son still lives at home, but know it will be hard when the time comes.....Just consider it "resting up time" til the grands start arriving!! ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Your pillows are very cute. I know what you mean by missing the kids when they move out. My baby went to college last year and someone asked me if I cried at his graduation. I didn't but when we went to see toy story and Andy's room was all empty, that's when I cried. Of course, his room looks like he is still here because he has so much stuff!

My goodness Stacy those pillows are AWESOME!!!
First my daughter then my son and now grandsons. It's all part of the process and different chapters of life. Doesn't make it any easier on us moms going through these phases but there is always something new to look forward to.
Blessings,
Sheila

you talk about things that scare me to pieces. I know that God will take care of them and me and that they are good kids... but I also see how FAST time goes by and how that my little 9 year old girl is half the age I was when I got married. MARRIED!!! Enjoy the little things, take time to let this be a good and exciting time as well. Share more with your daughter than ever before, let her take you for rides and laugh and just spend time together. Call your son from time to time and let him know you miss him. He is probably just as sad as you are, but will never say it. He is still excited at the same time about starting this new part of his life. He has a wonderful rolemodel who prepared and guided him and helped him get ready for this moment. While it is one of those mommy moments that we are emotional and justifiably so, it is also a time to stand back and look and give yourself a big pat on the back. you did it. you are a great mom and you raised a wonderful loving responsible family.

Sending hugs and prayers and smiles.
