Happy Mothers Day set

Hi there~

Mothers Day is only a week away so I am creating a few cards and tags for those special women in my life.  I love to celebrate all the Mothers I know because it is such a wonderful, special, sometimes difficult job. 

 I have had a couple of big "mom" moments in last few months that have helped me to realize just what a blessing be a mother is.  I thought it was hard when they were toddlers, demanding and making messes.  No one warned me about weddings, empty nest and having adult children LOL 

As I enter this next chapter of my life I hope I can do so with love and grace, and lots of time for crafting hehe!

Summer Card Challenge

Welcome Baby Card and Tag Set

Happy Friday!

I hope you all had a wonderful week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend like I am.

I created this card and tag using the stamp set Strawberry Patch from Papertrey, so fun.

I have added a few great online stores to my sidebar if you are new to paper crafting or would like to start, these stores offer great products and wonderful customer service.

It feels so good to get my stamps and ink out and make a mess, haha.

Wow, its been awhile!

Hi there~

I'm still here ;)  I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. We have had a crazy couple of months here.  My youngest son got married last weekend, that is him and I in the picture above.  It was a beautiful evening but I must say, pretty stressful. With that all behind me I plan to dedicate more time to crafting and blogging. Thank you for those that stuck with me.

Baskets of Pillows

Hi there~

Hope you all are staying warm and thinking of Spring :)  I hope it will be here soon for all you looking out your windows at the white stuff this morning.

  

I have a couple new Spring pillows I finished and listed this morning.  

I love this one with the basket of carrots...something about carrots this year, I just bought a carrot cookie cutter to make cookies for Easter.

Happy Valentines Day!

Hi there!

Happy Hearts Day!! 

I wanted pop in and share my wonderful Valentine gift from the hubs this morning.  I love Brighton and he was right on target with this set! (good job honey bun)

Isn't the card great too hehe, he got it from my Etsy store stash :)

I was busy the last couple of days baking and decorating cookies for my Valentines. I'm not a professional by any means, but it is fun to practice. The most important thing is that they taste good and at least I think they do, I have eaten more than my share haha!

Vintage Picnic Basket Cards

Hi there~

I'm back today with another card set.  In between knitting and crocheting I found some time to create this cute red and aqua card set.  The stamps are a set I purchased from Papertrey ink a few years ago and thought they would look great with this paper collection (from Martha Stewart). 

I finally took some pics of my knitting projects and plan to share soon.  I am just learning so I am a bit nervous about posting pictures just yet hehe.

My friend Lynette and I have a plan to knit one hat and scarf set a month for 2013. I finished my set for January, and now have my hat for February finished and working on the scarf.
