Summertime Watermelon Cards

Hi there!

After a couple of long, hot nights (our air has not worked upstairs since Sunday night ugh!) I am happy to say we are nice and cool in here again.  Here in the desert it is not good when the A/C doesn't work, Monday was 118 and today is supposed to reach 114! I feel for you on the east coast with the heat wave, stay cool friends!

I finished up a few fun and colorful melon cards so I thought I would pop in to share.

Summer Sampler Pillow

Hi there,

Hope you are enjoying your summer so far! I just completed this cute sampler pillow just in time for the first day of summer :) 

It is definitely summer here in the desert, today it was 106 degrees!! We are escaping the heat this weekend for a family reunion camping trip.  So I need to go get packing finished and bake some cookies to snack on.

Kitchen Gift Sets

Hi there~

I'm back today to share what I have been up to lately.  We are visiting family at the end of the month for a wedding and I wanted to take everyone a cute gift set.  I have a friend with an embroidery machine make the towels for me and I crocheted dish clothes and flower clothespin magnets for each of them. :)

I can't wait to package these and give them their gifts.

Summer Pillow Hangers

Hi there~

I finished up a few pillow tuck/hangers over the weekend so I thought I would share them with you today.

I just love how this watermelon hanger turned out, I hung them on rusty wire and tied a strip of homespun fabric on them.

Happy Birthday Card Set

Hi friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend.  We spent the afternoon at my sisters house with her family and we even hid eggs for our teen and adult children haha!  They had fun revisiting those childhood memories of hunting eggs, it was funny.  And hey, we had fun hiding the plastic eggs filled with candy and cash :)

This week I am having fun stamping and getting ink everywhere.  This is a fun bright Birthday card set I created for my new Esty shop Stacy Kay Creations.  I plan to move all my handmades over there soon.
