Today I am sharing a peek into our family room. 

Here is the shelf above my couch. I left out Halloween here so I can leave it as is all season.

I am dabbling in painting again, I just love all the cute patterns out there.  Here is one I did on canvas to practice..I am pretty happy how it turned out.  I still need some practice so don't look to closely lol

More Fall Decor..this time the Living room

I hope you are enjoying my Fall open house hehe.  Today I have the living room to share with you.  As you can tell I love decorating trees for the holidays.  People actually count them when they come over lol

Here is my little black tree with some handmade ornaments I created last year.

I printed out the vintage postcard and put it in a black frame, I just love how it turned out and it only cost me a dollar for the frame :)

My Fall tree!

Back today with a few pics of my Fall tree all decked out.  I leave this tree up year round and change the ornaments to go with the season.  Yes...my family thinks I'm nuts but it makes me happy and that's all the matters right LOL.....

Look close..here is a spooky bat from my very dear friend, Lil Raggedy :) And today is her Birthday!!! Happy Birthday Angie!!!! I am so happy we are friends :)

Cute witches boot huh, Angie made that too, she is so sweet!

Fall in the Kitchen!

I finally finished with my Fall decorating.  I had so much fun with all my new goodies from my new blog friends!!  Thank you all for your generosity, I am a lucky girl.

Just stitchin away....

Hi there friends...feels like forever since I posted last.  Not much going on, we celebrated my oldest sons birthday over the weekend, I can't believe I have a 24 year old :)   It is such a blessing to watch him grow into a kind, loving man.  Anyway..no mushy stuff today hehe.  I am stitchin my heart out lately with a few orders on Esty to keep me busy.  Today my plan is to start my fall decorating...our temps have actually dropped and RAIN is in the forcaste..finally.  I has been a very dry year for us.  So I hope to be back this week with pics of my decor. I have so many new items from my crafty friends here on blogland I can't wait to get it all out.

Is it Fall yet??

Hi there~

Well I know some of you lucky ones are starting to feel the cooler crisp mornings that lead way that Fall is breaking through..ahh I wish :)  But the good news is the weatherman said this morning it will cool down next week to 101...here in the desert that is our cool down haha! I think I need to arrange a different kind of swap, one where I get to come stay with you lucky ones until it cools down here LOL 

Well,  I am still in the wanting to get my fall decor out but haven't done anything about it hehe.  I just need to go get the totes and get started I know! I love it so much and it seems to slip by so fast so I like to get it out early so I can enjoy it longer. How about you, anyone out there have their stuff up yet? I have seen a few and you inspire me to get moving...

**Be A Witch Pillow Tuck**

Hi there~thought I would share a pillow tuck I just finished and listed in the Esty shop.  I am going back to my crafting roots here with some cross stitch. :)  I used to cross stitch all the time and when I recently came across this pattern I knew I wanted to make it.  I added a few mini buttons like a bat, ghost and yellow star.

Goodies from Lil Raggedy Angie

Happy Thursday everyone :)

I'm back with pictures of all the goodies Angie sent with my order of the candy corn...when the box came I couldn't believe how big it was and then I tore into it like Christmas morning LOL

Just check out all the treasures she included!!**Happy dance, happy dance**

The witches boot, and bat have hangers so I will be using them on my seasonal tree as ornaments. In the bag is some puka pods that smell yummy. I am ready to pull out my fall decor, it is hard to get in the mood with our heat advisory now extended through Friday...maybe I'll crank down the air conditioning and put on a sweater hehe

Hi there!

Just popping in today to say hello..hope you all are having a great week, I have some surprises to share from that sweetie pie Lil Raggedy Angie, hopefully later today, I need to get the camera out and snap a few shots of all the goodies she sent me :) I want to take a minute and thank all of you for making me feel so welcome since starting my personal blog a few months ago..I had no idea what to blog about and how or why anyone would respond..but to my great surprise there are some really nice ladies out there.  I appreciate it so much, it makes my day to read about what is going on in your lives and when you comment on mine...I hope I'm not coming across to mushy hehe, just wanted to say thank you and I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Halloween Sampler Pillow

Great Pumpkin Swap with Dee!!

Hi there~

Oh my goodness!!! I am a happy girl today!!  I participated in the Great Pumpkin Swap hosted by Amy over at Bumble Bee Lane and she paired me up with Dee from Icehouse Crafts, how lucky right??

I wanted to share just what a great swap partner Dee is, she really blessed me :) She painted me block shelf sitters, and two signs..so great!  She included three stitched and painted candy corns that are so wonderful, a candle and a wonderfully scented sachet.  When I opened my mailbox that is what I smelled even before I took package out of the mailbox, wonder what the post office thought LOL

Thank you so much Dee!!! I absolutely L O V E everything.

Autumn Wishes
